Cadiz defender fouled Pedri when he just stepped the D box. Furthermore, Barca made few attempts but failed to score in the first half. In the 34th minute of Barcelona vs Cadiz, Cadiz had the chance to equalize the score. Cadiz’s striker Sobrino could not connect with the ball. Pique wanted to clear the ball but gave it away to Sobrino. Although Sobrino got the ball, he hit it with the thigh and went wide apart.  Cadîz continuously cleared every cross. The visitors denied Griezmann’s cross to Messi.

Barcelona vs Cadiz Second Half Preview

In the second half, Pedri and De Jong made some good moves. Likewise, Cadîz kept on clearing all the shots from Barcelona players. In the 62nd minute, Ledesma heavily denied Griezmann. Messi sent the cross to the Griezmann before he approached. As a result, Frenchman could not get the shot properly. Barcelona head coach, Ronald Koeman made a couple of changes in the 65th minute of Barcelona vs Cadiz. He subbed on Martin Braithwaite and Miralem Pjanic in the place of Antoine Griezmann and Sergio Busquets.  The match went tougher at the last minute. In the 74th minute, Ronald Koeman made another change. He subbed in Trincao in place of Pedri. Messi missed a shot by an inch in the 80th minute. Leo strikes a curling shot on the right top corner but it went a bit higher.

In the 87th minute of Barcelona vs Cadiz, Clement Lenglet fouled Sobrino on the box. As a result, Cadiz was awarded the penalty. The second-half substitute, Alex Fernandez scored from the spot and equalized the score. Furthermore, Barcelona made the last attack but was unable to score and obliged to drop the points.
