Marco Asensio spoke to Real Madrid TV after training. Asensio discussed his return from the terrible injury lay-off. Also Asensio spoke to the TV about his recovery and training session.

The Spaniard has been training normally since the squad returned. Marco Asensio says that his knee has been responding well to the every-day efforts. The Real Madrid winger suffered a crucial ligament injury last year in pre-season match against Arsenal. The injury ruled him out for more than 9 months.

The current enforced pandemic Corona Virus turned favourable for the Spaniard. The medical staffs and the manager Zinedine Zidane are hopeful in his recovery. The management has expected Asensio to come back to full fitness before the season resumes.

Talking to the TV, Asensio said, “I am feeling better than the injury prone days. It was a horrible pain and I haven’t hoped that I would recover so sooner. The first week was different as I was back training and with my teammates. My adaptation has been great, my knee is responding well and I feel very good physically.”

Asensio added, “I waited for the big period of time. It’s been a very long wait. The bed rest was very painful. The days used to be quite boring. It was the matter of sorrow and pain when you see your teammates training and you’re lying on the bed.
Those days were really worse when I was unable to train and play. I missed the important games and the crucial moments. Remembering those, it really hurts me. I’m now back on the pitch with my teammates and that’s what’s important. It was worth the wait.”

Due to the pandemic, the season is stopped. Here now, I am recovering. I am training slowly with the squad. We’ve been out on the pitch together for quite some time and now we’re getting back to those attack and defense situations. We are training with more people now and the energy has gone up quite a bit. The league is also going to resume soon. I recovering fast. Perhaps I can start the remaining matches of the league.

We came here with a good physical level and we were looking forward to working together. We’ve worked well at home and it’s showing on the pitch.

“We’re really looking forward to the start of the league and those matches decide a title. We know they are do or die matches. We have to give every possible things in those matches. We are positive about the resumption of the league. We try to win everything in front of us.”

Along Marco Asensio Eden Hazard is also suffering injury. The Belgian star encountered the injury while playing against Paris Saint Germain in the champions league round of 16. Hazard suffered a micro fracture in his ankle while playing against Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League in November.

La Liga is planning to resume from 3rd week of June following the league’s suspension due to the corona virus. AS reports that Hazard may soon be ready to make a swift return to the Madrid side.

Hazard has been working hard to get back to his physiques during this break in the footballing session. Also Hazard has already started training in the Valdebebas with the ball. And Eden Hazard is only a couple of weeks away from taking part in full training again. But his training session will be under the complete supervision of the manager, Zinedine Zidane.

Eden Hazard missed the beginning of the season with hamstring injury. After that, Hazard was out from the squad for two months with an ankle problem. La Liga is currently on hold, with plans in place to resume the season on 20 June.

The Champions League is expected to be completed in August. This temporary halt has given Hazard a golden chance to fight against his injury. In this breakout, he has got the chance of recovering himself and make his place in remaining season matches.

Hazard can be the key player for the Los Blancos side. Real Madrid are just 2 points behind their rivals in the league table. The Belgian can make a difference in turning the result upside down. His performance matters in the champions league too where Real Madrid are 2-1 back in the first leg in Bernabeu.
