Karim Benzema will renew his contract until 2023. The official announcement is in the coming days. He refused to renew until 2024 and made it clear to the club that he would leave as soon as he feels his level had fallen because he did not want to become a burden. Apparently he has accepted 10% wage reduction for 2021/22 and a 15% wage reduction for the 2022/23. Meanwhile, his rival Lionel Messi will also stay at Barcelona. There is no chance for other clubs.
