The meeting came with the conclusion that the La Liga should be resumed. La Liga is going to be resumed from June 20. The president of La Liga, Javier Tebas said ” It is not only about the champions of the season. The champions league spot should have to be decided as well as Europa League spot and the relegation teams.” 

Spain’s professional football holds 3% of the national GDP of Spain. If the season got cancelled then Spain Football Federation has to bear the loss of £450-500 millions. 

After the suspension of French ligue 1 they are about to bear the loss of £250M. 

It is said to be resumed from June 20 and end on July 26. There will be two matches each week (Wednesday-Sunday). This will all happen if the pandemic doesn’t spread much. 

11 Games are left to play and FC Barcelona are on the top of the table with 58 points in 27 matches played.
