Real Madrid and Norwegian midfielder Martin Odegaard finalized his move to English club Arsenal today. The attacking mid fielder will complete his season at Arsenal. Odegaard agreed to all the terms and condition on the condition that he would be given time to play. Real Madrid let him go on loan to Arsenal on the condition that the Gunners will pay his wages. Odegaard’s wages would be £38,000 ($52,000) a week.
The Arsenal’s play maker Mesut Ozil joined Fenerbahce few days ago. So to fulfill the place of the midfielder Arsenal went to the Real Madrid’s youngster. Arsenal agreed to pay the huge salary to Martin Odegaard. Considering the vacant place in Arsenal’s midfield the Gunners signed the Norwegian.
The 22 years old midfielder had requested to leave the Santiago Bernabeu as he wasn’t given proper play time. In the Zinedine Zidane’s management he couldn’t make himself on the team. Zidane’s preferred choice Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Casemiro are still available. So it becomes quite difficult for the youngster to adjust in the team.
